Purnama and Tilem is a holy day celebrated by Hindus worldwide. Full moon comes every 30 days. Similarly, Tilem celebrated once every 30 days. Purnama is the day when the moon emits a bright light. While Tilem also called dead-month, when a state of darkness. The distance between Purnama and Tilem is at odds of 15 days. Full moon is often identified with the brightness, while Tilem termed the dark.
